Infant Room
Our experienced caregivers offer personalized attention, gentle routines, and engaging sensory activities designed to support early learning and emotional comfort. With cozy sleep areas, consistent communication, and close collaboration with families, we ensure your baby’s day is filled with warmth, security, and meaningful moments that nurture their earliest milestones.
We welcome infants starting at 6 weeks old, and can accept younger babies with a doctor’s note to ensure they are ready for care.
Toddlers
Ages 1-3
Our toddler rooms are thoughtfully designed to inspire exploration, independence, and hands-on learning in a safe, engaging environment. With age-appropriate activities, interactive learning centers, and plenty of space to move, play, and discover, toddlers build confidence while developing key social, emotional, and motor skills. Our caring staff supports each child’s unique growth through structured routines and guided play, while nutritious, child-friendly meals are included daily to keep little learners energized and happy.
Pre-Kindergarten
Our Pre-Kindergarten room welcomes children starting at 4 years old and provides a structured, engaging environment designed to build school readiness through hands-on learning, early literacy and math activities, creative exploration, and social skill development.
Breakfast, lunch, and nutritious snacks are included daily to keep students energized and ready to learn.
After Care
Our After Care Program provides a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for students to unwind, complete homework, and enjoy enriching activities after the school day ends. Students enrolled at Fred Wild Elementary and Cracker Trail Elementary can conveniently ride the bus directly to Family Tree Learning Center, where our caring staff offers structured recreation, academic support, and fun, age-appropriate projects that keep children active and inspired until pick-up time.

Food Service

Extended Hours
FTLC is open year-round from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, with closures only on major holidays.
On-site Laundry
All blankets, linens, and other daycare items are washed on-site in our on-site laundry to ensure a clean and safe environment for every child.
Scholarships
Scholarships are available through the Early Learning Coalition or FTLC to help families access our programs.
Food Service
We provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks prepared fresh each day in our commercial-grade kitchen.

Early Learning Coalition
Family Tree Learning Center (FTLC) proudly accepts scholarships from the Early Learning Coalition. Families can apply for these scholarships online at www.elcfh.org to help make quality childcare more accessible.
Closure Information
Weather Policy
In the event of severe weather, we will follow
The School Board of Highlands County and/or
The South Florida State College in preparation
for a storm. However, we will reopen as soon
as the facility is determined to be safe, it has
power, and water.
